IdentityForce Review: The $150 Question Between UltraSecure and UltraSecure+Credit

IdentityForce sells four plans, but the useful decision is simpler than the names make it look. The two UltraSecure plans are identity-protection plans. The two UltraSecure+Credit plans add the adult credit-monitoring layer. Moving from a base tier to its +Credit equivalent costs exactly $150 a year, whether you are buying for one adult or a family.

That distinction matters because the current IdentityForce plan cards do not list credit-report monitoring or daily TransUnion credit reports and scores on the base UltraSecure tiers. Those credit features are listed on the +Credit tiers. Advanced Fraud Monitoring remains part of UltraSecure, but IdentityForce describes that separately: it can alert when a lender requests a copy of your credit report. That is not the same thing as ongoing credit-report monitoring.

IdentityForce is a current, separately purchasable product sold directly as a TransUnion brand. Nesswick has not purchased or operated an account. The figures below were checked against IdentityForce’s current official pages on September 28, 2026.

The four plans and what separates them

PlanMonthlyAnnualAdult credit monitoringID theft insurance
UltraSecure$19.90$199.90Not listed on current plan card$1M
UltraSecure+Credit$34.90$349.903-bureau monitoring & alerts$2M
UltraSecure Family$24.90$249.90Not listed on current plan card$1M
UltraSecure+Credit Family$39.90$399.903-bureau monitoring & alerts$2M

The annual step from UltraSecure to UltraSecure+Credit is $150 for an individual and $150 for a family. Paying monthly costs more over a full year: for example, $19.90 a month totals $238.80 versus the $199.90 annual UltraSecure price. A 30-day trial is shown on the UltraSecure tiers.

What you get without +Credit

UltraSecure is an identity-protection plan rather than a reduced version of the credit-monitoring package. Its current plan card lists a Personalized Action Plan, Personalized Identity Safety Score, 24/7 dark-web monitoring, risk scores for dark-web hits, Advanced Fraud Monitoring, mobile alerts, a dedicated restoration specialist, VPN for mobile, online PC protection and $1 million in identity-theft insurance.

The important distinction is Advanced Fraud Monitoring. IdentityForce says it can send near-real-time alerts when lenders such as banks, auto dealers or mortgage companies request a copy of your credit report. That can be useful for spotting an attempted application, but it should not be described as one-bureau credit monitoring. The current base-plan card does not list daily TransUnion credit reports and scores, three-bureau credit monitoring or quarterly three-bureau reports.

What the $150 actually buys

Moving to UltraSecure+Credit adds the credit layer that the current base plan cards do not list: daily TransUnion credit reports and scores, three-bureau credit monitoring and alerts, and quarterly reports from all three national credit bureaus. The stated identity-theft insurance limit also rises from $1 million to $2 million. IdentityForce notes that coverage varies in New York.

The three-bureau monitoring is the substantive addition. Quarterly reports are less important as an access benefit because consumers can obtain their own reports from all three nationwide bureaus for free through AnnualCreditReport.com. What the paid service adds is continuous monitoring, alerts and consolidation rather than basic access to the reports.

The insurance increase is a stated coverage limit, not a guaranteed payout. Anyone buying because of the insurance figure should read the policy terms, conditions and exclusions.

The family plans, and the child limit

The family tiers monitor two adults. IdentityForce says children receive dark-web and social-media monitoring without a stated child limit, while child credit activity monitoring is limited to 10 children. Notably, the current UltraSecure Family card lists child credit activity monitoring even though it does not list adult credit-report monitoring. The +Credit Family tier adds the adult three-bureau credit features.

UltraSecure Family is $249.90 a year, $50 more than the individual UltraSecure plan. UltraSecure+Credit Family is $399.90 a year, preserving the same $150 step from the family base tier to the family +Credit tier.

Restoration and what it does not promise

All tiers include a dedicated restoration specialist, and IdentityForce markets recovery assistance as part of the service. Nesswick has not used that restoration service and makes no claim about responsiveness, quality or case duration. Monitoring is detection, not prevention: it can tell you about suspicious activity, but it does not by itself stop an account from being opened.

IdentityTheft.gov, the FTC’s official reporting and recovery service, provides a personalized recovery plan at no cost. The paid-service value is convenience, monitoring and access to specialist assistance rather than exclusive access to recovery steps.

What three-bureau monitoring costs elsewhere

Three-bureau monitoring is available elsewhere at lower current annual prices. Aura’s Individual plan is $12 a month billed annually, or $144 for the year, and includes three-bureau monitoring. LifeLock Advanced is $199.99 a year and currently renews at $199.99 a year. IdentityForce UltraSecure+Credit is $349.90 a year.

That makes IdentityForce UltraSecure+Credit $205.90 a year more than Aura’s current annual individual price and $149.91 more than LifeLock Advanced’s current annual price. Those are price comparisons, not declarations that the services are otherwise identical. IdentityForce may still fit someone who specifically values its restoration model, alert structure or other bundled identity-protection features.

Before you pay for any of it

A credit freeze remains a different and stronger preventive layer than monitoring: a freeze restricts access to your credit file for new-credit purposes, while monitoring alerts you to activity. Free weekly credit reports are also available through AnnualCreditReport.com. Paid identity-protection services are therefore buying monitoring, consolidation, alerts and recovery assistance, not exclusive access to your credit information.

Who it fits, and who should skip it

UltraSecure fits someone who wants IdentityForce’s identity-monitoring, fraud-alert and restoration features but does not need the adult credit-monitoring package. UltraSecure+Credit fits someone who specifically wants three-bureau monitoring, daily TransUnion reports and scores, quarterly three-bureau reports and the higher stated insurance limit in the same subscription.

If three-bureau monitoring is the main reason you are considering the upgrade, compare the $349.90 annual price with other providers before paying. If prevention is the priority, freeze your credit first and treat monitoring as an additional detection layer rather than a substitute for the freeze.
